Chocolate Hazelnut Balls are a delicious and healthy no-bake snack. The flavor will remind you of Nutella or a Ferrero Rocher!
Add almond flour, cacao powder, hazelnuts, almond butter and maple syrup into a food processor.
Process for about 30 seconds, or until a doughy-like texture has formed.
If the mixture is too dry, add 1 teaspoon of water at a time until the texture is perfect.
Use a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop and roll the dough into balls.
Place the balls onto a plate, cookie sheet or board lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate them for 30 minutes.
When there is about 5 minutes left of refrigeration time, melt down the chocolate chips with coconut oil.
Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave in 30 second increments to ensure the chocolate does not burn. (Example: Microwave for 30 seconds, stir the chocolate and then place back into the microwave.) Repeat this until the chocolate is completely melted.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the bliss balls.
Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if desired.
Place them back into the refrigerator for 30 minutes for the chocolate to set.
